Meet Coach Lesley
Hello and welcome to my website! My name is Lesley Taylor and I am a Professional Coach specializing in life coaching and leadership development. For as long as I can remember I have had the privilege of coaching and mentoring others.
The Benefits Of Coaching Are Plentiful
Coaching is a process that facilitates learning and growth. As a professional coach I am committed to your ongoing success and working with you as you achieve the things that you want in life - the things that give your life meaning and contribute to your well-being and happiness.
The benefits of hiring a professional coach will enhance your ability to move beyond your comfort zone and to truly experience life to the fullest.
A Word About Balance
Having a balanced, healthy life is a priority for me. This includes spending as much time as I can connecting with family and friends, being mindful of the food I eat, exercising regularly and being spiritually engaged with life.
My daily spiritual practice includes meditation and yoga.
We Are All Connected
I believe that the only way we can make a difference in our own lives, and in the world around us, is to work togetherto support each other locally and across the globe.
As Margaret Mead said, “Never underestimate the power of a few committed individuals to change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”
The close relationships we develop as we work together can benefit us in many ways:
Supporting The Environment
I live in British Columbia on the west coast of Canada. B.C. is one of the most amazing, spiritually nourishing places in the world and being so close to nature has awakened my interest in and my concern for the environment.
One of my personal goals is to help raise awareness of how we can work together to protect our environment and our health. We can’t be healthy if the world we live in is ill. Two organizations that I support are the David Suzuki Foundation and the Watershed Sentinel. Both organizations provide education and ideas about how we can all make a difference in the world.
Education & Experience:
For over 25 years I have worked in health care organizations and with community groups - as a leader, social worker, trainer, and change management coach. I obtained my Bachelors Degree in Social Work and my Masters Degree in Adult Education from the University of British Columbia.
Through-out my life I have found ways to give back to the community by volunteering my time with various organizations:
The Richmond Crisis Centre
The Alzheimer Society of B.C.
The B.C. Council for Families
ACR: The Association of Advocates for Care Reform
The Richmond Women’s Resource Centre.
I am currently on the board of The Delta Youth Support Line Society.
